Project 9 pays homage to the Tony Award-winning musical Nine with book by Arthur Kopit, music and lyrics by Maury Yeston, is based on the original adaptation of The Italian by Mario Fratti and Federico Fellini’s semi-autobiographical 1963 film 8½.
Glory Crampton gathered her fellow singers and dancers to give the group something to focus on while Broadway was shut down.

When the pandemic paralysed Broadway last year, New York actress-singer Glory Crampton rounded up the cast of the musical Nine she had worked with ten years earlier and set about showing the resilience and “we will prevail” spirit of theatre folk refusing to bow down to Covid-19.
